Our good friend and former colleague, Peter, built this home for himself and his wife to retire to in Vermont.  Though it had to sit on the foundations of the previous home, it was all new construction and aspired to be net zero using a combination of tight sealing and thick insulation as well as roof mounted solar collectors.
